Rapeseed oil
Rapeseed, an amazingly versatile plant, was grown by humans as early as 3000 BC. Its oil - rich in saturated fatty acids – has the ideal ratio of omega 3 to omega 6, and has low cholesterol content. The cold-pressed oil is rich in vitamin E, so it can protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. The carotenoids found in oil work as antioxidants and slow down the ageing of cells.
